Terms of use

Terms for using Tapecut.

By using Tapecut, you agree to these terms.

The service

Tapecut is a free audio editor that runs in your browser. It is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

Your audio, your responsibility

Everything you edit stays on your device, and everything you create with Tapecut remains yours. We claim no rights over your audio. You are responsible for what you edit: only use audio you own or have permission to use, and don't use Tapecut for anything unlawful.

No liability for lost work

Tapecut keeps your session on your device. Refreshing or closing the tab can discard unsaved work. Export regularly. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost recordings, lost edits, or any indirect damages arising from use of the tool.

Fair use of the site

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, or misrepresent it as your own.

Changes
